Our School Prayer
The prayer of Saint Richard of Chichester
Dear Lord Jesus,
May we know you more clearly,
Love you more dearly and follow you more nearly.
Day by day,
Amen
Our School Hymn
I will make you Fishers of Men if you follow Me
Harvest
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Harvest Service. The children all did a super job singing, reciting and some, acting as Dingle Dangle Scarecrows! Thank you if you were able to donate produce which will be forwarded on your behalf to Stratford Food Bank. Thank you to Revd Fritha Middlemiss for leading the service.
For a real treat, Fox & Hedgehog classes performed ‘The Dingle Dangle Scarecrow’.
Remembrance
We marked Armistice Day with a minute’s silence kindly led by Reverend David in our beautiful churchyard. The children were read the names of the fallen men from World War 1 and World War 2 from our community. Isabelle in Hedgehog Class is a distant relative of one of the soldiers who gave his life in service during conflict. If you are interested to find out more about the men behind the names, Stan Lapidge has researched and forwarded fascinating details which can be found below. Thank you as always to Reverend David for his service and time.
