Wilmcote CofE (Voluntary Aided) Primary School

Welcome to our school

Wilmcote School Parents Association

Wilmcote School Parents Association (WSPA) is made up of a small group of friendly and enthusiastic parents who meet once every 4/6 weeks to plan ways of raising much needed funds to provide many extras for the children and enrich their learning.

Events such as Jumble Sales, clothes parties, a Summer Ball, Summer & Christmas Fairs,  Sponsored Sports events and Discos have contributed to the installation of new playground equipment, safer and softer resurfacing in the playground and everyday resources for the children's enrichment.  From time to time we have also been supported by a few local businesses, local charities and the Parish Council.

Without the commitment from this small group of volunteers our children would not be able to benefit from these additional extras.  WSPA are always looking for new members to join the committee who meet approximately twice a term to discuss and plan for activities and events, but are also always on the lookout for parents who could offer their support occasionally at events and would be willing to sign up for two or three events across the year.   If you are interested please contact Jo Gough at josiejopickering@hotmail.com or Dawn Chapman at dawn.chapman@outlook.com

Our current projects are to improve the outside space with the provision of a canopy to shelter children during their outside learning. The canopy will cost in the region of £7500

Also to replace and update our IT provision, as detailed below.

20 iPads @ £346 each plus case £15 each

15 MacBooks @£900 each
